This morning the head of Arts & Culture gave me 40 recorders which the school received from the government. I now have to tech the learners how to play it. "It's easy!" Everyone keeps telling me.
I'm no Superman. I started singing with them yesterday, but even that was hard enough. The thing about these learners is that they want everything given to them. They don't really want to work. I couldn't get them to work together. It's not as easy as it looks in Sister Act II. Today's class didn't go that bad though.
But the recorder? I do want to teach it to them, problem is just that I have never played one. So well, I hope that everyone was right when they said that 'It's easy', because I have a weekend to learn how to play it.
